Designer, Master of Arts Päivi Harjuhaahto has worked for Kalevala Jewelry since 1997. The young designer and goldsmith is at her own best when she designs modern jewellery combined with fascinating stories. The jewellery must also offer challenges – how to solve the technical details and to cut the jewellery in its final shape in a way that it corresponds to the image she has created is vitally important.
Päivi Harjuhaahto is an enthusiastic follower of trends. Besides jewellery design she is especially interested in industrial design, architecture and textile arts.
Päivi Harjuhaahto gets her inspiration from the nature and especially from the see by which she has grown up and spent her youth. Rush of see wind follows as a positive idea in all her design.
