Kai Lindström

Master goldsmith Kai Lindström worked for Kalevala Jewelry in almost 40 years, from the year 1961. He began his career by realizing designs of Börje Rajalin who at that time was Kalevala Jewelry’s head designer. At that time he made several skillful works, a.o. the famous Tokyo bracelet designed by Rajalin which today is exhibited in the collection of the Museum of art and design. Besides for Rajalin he also worked as model goldsmith for Paula Häiväoja, the head designer of Kalevala Jewelry after Rajalin and for Bertel Gardberg.

Besides his work model goldsmith Kai Lindström also designed several own jewellery lines. The most famous were the 1515 jewellery line and the popular Luontoset jewellery line which with great delicacy combines ceramics to metal.
