This series is modeled after a brooch dating from around 800 A.D. The piece was found at Lukkarinmäki in Uskela. The round brooch is ornamented with wave and ribbon-like designs. This was a popular motif amond the Finno-ugric tribes living along the Oka River, so this piece was probably Russian in origin.
