The Setukais people from southern Estonia are renowned for their singing traditions and the abundant jewelry adorning their national costumes. This chain, designed in the spirit of the Renaissance, is part of the
national costume of Setukais women. The Swedish-Finnish Queen Kaarina Maununtytär wore the same type of chain in one of her portraits.
