Tapio Ståhlberg

Goldsmith Tapio Ståhlberg has worked for Kalevala Jewelry since 1995. She works in the company’s ring workshop with versatile goldsmith’s tasks. He e.g. fixes diamonds onto rings and programs the technically demanding CNC-machine for new rings and products. Additionally he designs new ring designs for Kalevala Jewelry.

The inspiration for his design he often gets from the organic forms of nature. Also travelling and new cultures inspire him to new jewelry ideas. He has a deep respect for traditions which can be seen as a glimmer in the products designed by him. The pieces of jewelry reflect traditions but are still modern jewelry of today. The talented Tapio Ståhlberg wants to develope as a designer in such way that the jewelry designed by him could live over trends and fashion flows and maintain its esthetic timelessness.
