Kalevala Jewelry – a company of 4000 Finnish women

Kalevala Koru Oy (Kalevala Jewelry) is one the largest jewelry manufacturers in northern Europe. The company designs, manufactures and markets high-quality gold, silver and bronze jewelry. Kalevala Koru Oy and Lapponia Jewelry Oy form a jewelry-group which is one of the largest jewelry groups in  Europe. The Group is fully owned by Finnish Kalevala Women´s Association, i.e. some 4000 women devoted to preserve and advance our nationa cultural heritage.
The Group’s net sales during the closing financial year stood at around EUR 25 million and it employed some 240 people. 

Kalevala Jewelry`s employees are top professionals in their expertise on handicraft and high technology. Kalevala Jewelry´s production facility, sales and administration all operate under the same roof in Helsinki. The company manufactures all its jewelry in Finland and favors materials that have originated in Finland. Kalevala Jewelry protects its strong brand with care. This can be seen in all the company’s operations: in sales, manufacturing as well as in marketing. According to extensive Finnish brand research, Kalevala Jewelry came 14th among the best rated brands in 2009 (marmai, 2009).
